The Lancaster community is mourning the tragic loss of Angel Felecino, a 27-year-old man who was killed in a single-vehicle crash earlier this week. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Felecino’s identity on Thursday.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), officers responded to the crash at approximately 11:14 p.m. Tuesday on 150th Street East, just south of Avenue M. Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims inside the vehicle.

Angel Felecino was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second occupant was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.

Details surrounding what led to the crash remain unclear, and investigators are actively working to determine the cause. At this time, no further information has been released regarding possible contributing factors such as speed, impairment, or road conditions.

Angel’s sudden passing has left his loved ones and the greater Lancaster community devastated. He is remembered as a young man with a kind heart and a bright spirit, whose life ended far too soon.

As the investigation continues, friends and family are left searching for answers while honoring Angel’s memory and grieving his loss. Updates may be provided by authorities as more information becomes available.
