On Saturday, August 2, 2025, at approximately 6:09 p.m., St. Marys Police officers responded to reports of shots fired at the apartment complex located at 800 Winding Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the victims, 23-year-old Jadeon Andredeshawn Wilson of Yulee, Florida, was transported to Southeast Georgia Health System – Camden Campus, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The second victim, Jhainesia Keniya Glover, also 23, of St. Marys, was taken to UF Health Shands and is currently listed in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
Michael Anthony Massey, 23, of Kingsland, GA, was taken into custody for questioning. He was arrested on an unrelated warrant and transported to Camden County Jail. No charges related to the shooting have been filed at this time, as the investigation remains active.
Authorities expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts of the Kingsland Police Department and the Camden County Sheriff’s Office in responding to the scene.
