A tragic motorcycle accident in Vermont has claimed the life of Ricky Chandler, a 40-year-old man from Granville, New York, according to the Vermont State Police.

The collision occurred on Sunday along State Route 30 in the town of Wells. Authorities report that Chandler was riding northbound on his motorcycle when a vehicle entered the roadway from South Street. As the vehicle turned onto Route 30, it struck Chandler’s motorcycle, resulting in a violent crash.

Emergency crews responded quickly, and Chandler was initially transported to Glens Falls Hospital in New York. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was later transferred to Albany Medical Center, where he was sadly pronounced dead.

An investigation is currently underway to determine the precise circumstances surrounding the crash. Police have not yet disclosed the identity of the driver involved or whether any charges are being considered.
