It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Alison George, a beloved daughter, sister, friend, and member of the Ontario community. Alison passed away suddenly in late July 2025, leaving behind family, friends, and colleagues devastated by the news and struggling to come to terms with the loss of a woman who touched so many lives with her warmth, creativity, and generous spirit.
Alison’s passing came far too soon. Her cause of death has not been officially released, but the news of her sudden and unexpected departure has sparked an outpouring of grief and remembrance across her community, both in-person and online.
Born and raised in Ontario, Alison was known for her genuine kindness, quick wit, and infectious laugh. She lived her life with purpose and compassion, always seeking to uplift others and make a difference, whether through her professional endeavors or personal relationships.
Alison worked in the field of education and community outreach, where she consistently went above and beyond for the people she served. Colleagues describe her as dedicated, thoughtful, and inspiring—a team player who never hesitated to step in and support those around her. Her passion for helping others was evident in everything she did, from mentoring youth to organizing community events and charitable drives.
Outside of work, Alison was an avid reader, a lover of the outdoors, and a cherished friend to many. She found joy in nature, often spending her weekends hiking local trails or relaxing by Ontario’s lakes. Her friends remember her as someone who always made time for meaningful conversations and who had a unique ability to make people feel seen and valued.
Alison also had a strong creative side, frequently journaling, crafting, and exploring photography as a personal outlet. Her love for storytelling and capturing moments was something she shared generously with others, preserving memories that now serve as treasured keepsakes for her loved ones.
She is survived by her parents, siblings, extended family, and a wide circle of friends who will carry her memory forward with love and gratitude. Those closest to her are heartbroken by her loss but are also deeply thankful for the time they had with her—a time filled with laughter, encouragement, and countless small moments that now mean everything.
