Marshal County Sheriff Mike Dougherty has confirmed the heartbreaking news that the four individuals reported missing from Buffalo, New York, have been found deceased following a tragic vehicle crash.
The victims have been identified as:
Dr. Kishore Divan
Mrs. Asha Divan
Mr. Shailesh Divan
Mrs. Gita Divan
Their vehicle was discovered on the evening of Saturday, August 2, at approximately 9:30 PM, off a steep embankment along Big Wheeling Creek Road. Emergency crews responded quickly and remained on the scene for more than five hours.
Sheriff Dougherty offered his deepest condolences to the families and loved ones affected by this devastating loss. “Our hearts go out to the Divan family during this unimaginable time,” he said.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, and further details will be released once the investigation is complete.
